My childhood involved watching my mother draw and paint. I was also very intrigued by my brother's photography. So . . . from an early age, I loved to create using a pencil, paint, or camera. My first painting on canvas was a joint effort with my twin sister. After high school I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. As an adult, I have combined my passion for travel and art by photographing many spectacular destinations. Yes....I was glad the figures were in the scene. I also liked the changing light while shooting here. When I started, it was bright sunlight. Here the sunset is creating a warm sky which contrasted nicely with the cool ice. Later, the lights coming through the ice gave it an entirely different look.
